Get Involved

Want to be a part of Ctrl-ART-Del?
There are lots of options both on and offstage.

Perform in a Show

One of Ctrl-ART-Del’s primary goals is getting Haliburton and surrounding area-based artists creating. While we are happy to meet with artists based in other parts of Canada, we prioritize casting local performers.

You do not need to be a professional performer to work with us. Newcomers who are excited to learn are more than welcome (and highly encouraged!) to audition. Performers of all cultural and ethnic backgrounds, diverse gender identities and sexual orientations, body types and abilities are encouraged to audition.

We are casting three additional performers to play members of the girls soccer team in The Wolves. Performers should be able to believably play 16-17.

Contact us at info@ctrlartdel.ca for more information.

Participate in Acting Workshops

Have you always wanted to act, but want to learn the building blocks of performing first, without the pressure of committing to a show? Or maybe you’re a seasoned performer who wants to keep your skills sharp and have some fun socializing with other artists. Good news!

We host workshops that teach various theatre skills, including text analysis, improv, and full scene studies.

Join our Production Team

Are you interested in working behind the scenes in props, set construction, wardrobe, stage management, tech, or backstage? We would love to meet you!

We are currently looking for volunteers to fill production roles for our 2024 season.

Backstage roles include set building/painting, costume construction, props, helping with load-in, running crew, or working in the sound/lighting booth. No experience necessary, we are more than happy to train you. We typically work with people ages 14 and up. To learn more, contact us at info@ctrlartdel.ca.

Volunteer With Us

Many hands make light work! We are grateful to volunteers who are interested in helping with front of house during performances, working as crew members backstage during shows, assisting with load ins of sets at the theatre, or helping out with set painting and construction.

There’s always something that needs doing!

High school students looking to earn volunteer hours are always welcome.

If you would like to volunteer with us at an upcoming show, message us.
