Auditions for our 2026 Season are official open. Get excited!
We are currently casting three of our four shows for the 2026 season: our mainstage productions of Punch Up by Kat Sandler and The Welkin by Lucy Kirkwood, and our staged reading of Duecentomila by kai fig taddei.

There are roles available for actors of all ages and genders between the three shows. Newcomers are strongly encouraged to audition. We are used to training new actors and will happily get you up to speed.

Auditions will be held at the Haliburton Legion (719 Mountain Street, Haliburton, ON) on December 6th and 7th. To book an audition slot now, fill out the google form, and a member of the Ctrl-ART-Del will be in touch.​
If you are interested in auditioning, but are not available on December 6th and 7th, email us at info@ctrlartdel.ca so we can set up an alternate audition time for you.
The Audition Process:
At your audition, you will be asked to perform a short scene from the show for the creative team. The sides that you will be working from can be found here. https://bit.ly/2026AuditionSides

​Please prepare sides for whichever show(s) and character(s) you are most interested in. Double check the audition package to see specific instructions for actors auditioning for certain roles in Punch Up and The Welkin.

These sides do not need to be memorized, but please get comfortable with the words so that you don’t need to be glued to the paper. A member of the creative team will read the scene with you.
​
We may also ask you to do a cold reading (an unrehearsed reading) from a different scene, or as a different character, in the audition.
​
You do not need to perform in a British accent for The Welkin or an Italian accent for Duecentomila. We would prefer to hear your natural speaking voice.
​
The best advice we can give is to come into the room and be yourself. Slow down, anchor, and breathe. We can't wait to meet you, and to have fun creating more theatre in Haliburton County this year!
