We are holding open auditions for our 2025 Season of Plays on December 7th and 8th, 2024. We are casting performers ages 14 and up. No acting experience required, just a willingness to learn.

Auditions will be held in the Schofield Room at the Haliburton Legion (719 Mountain St, Haliburton, ON. To book an audition slot now, fill out the google form, and a member of the Ctrl-ART-Del will be in touch.

The Audition Process:
It is possible for a performer to appear in both Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors and The Grown-Ups if they wish to do so. Please mark on your audition form which show(s) you would like to be considered for, and we will cover them both in the same audition.
You will be asked to perform a short scene from the show for the creative team. The sides (short pieces of the script) that you will be working from can be found here.

Please choose sides for the character you would like to audition for (sides are labelled with the characters’ names).
These sides do not need to be memorized, but please get comfortable with the words so that you don’t need to be glued to the paper. A member of the creative team will read the scene with you.

We may also ask you to do a cold reading (an unrehearsed reading) from a different scene, or as a different character, in the audition. You do not need to prepare anything for this.
