The Wolves
By Sarah DeLappe
Left quad. Right quad. Lunge. A girls indoor soccer team warms up.
Ctrl-ART-Del is bringing one of Off-Broadway's most-talked about plays to Haliburton.

Sarah DeLappe’s The Wolves is an energetic, frequently funny, sometimes painful ode to adolescence.
On an indoor field deep in suburbia, nine teenage girls meet each Saturday to play soccer. From the safety of their weekly warm up circle, the team navigates big questions and wages tiny battles with all the vim and vigour of a pack of adolescent warriors.

Featuring a local cast of young performers, The Wolves is a must-see coming of age story, appropriate for teens and adults.

An intriguing rendition of a typical group of teenage girls and how they talk and share. We were drawn into the story-line and enjoyed it thoroughly.
The Wolves is a heart-wrenching play with characters that felt authentic. Each individual story pulled you in and you left wanting to know more. The set and props were minimal and the setting was intimate; the actors were able to lean into subtle details in their body language and tone of voice to truly convey their characters and relationships with each other.
